We arrived a little late on Friday evening. But we quickly settled into our tent cabin.

Always the scholar, Stephen seemed determined to ruin a relaxing weekend by bringing homework.

It's hard to see but during the Spring, waterfalls just appear all over the valley.

The morning dawned cold (mid 30's) but the forecast was to rise into the mid 70's during the day.

That's where we're headed. The top of Yosemite Falls.

Yosemite was experiencing it's largest water flow in 10 years.

Very soon we encountered switchbacks leading up the valley wall. This would be the theme for the day.

These steps were really nice going up. Tough on your knees heading down. If you look closely you'll see a chipmunk on the trail.
